My impression: I visited this ashram two times, but nobody could tell me anything certain about the accommodation prices and yoga courses. They just sent me a lot of times to different places and finally one guy told me, “No rooms,” and, “we have a free yoga class from 6.00 to 7.00 AM every morning.” Nevertheless, I found later on the Internet the information about The Yoga-Vedanta Forest Academy and its 2-month yoga course. Currently this yoga course is not available for the foriniers, only Indian men can study there. Foreigners didn’t obey the discipline, they went out after 9 PM, they didn’t want to follow the rules, and because they were asked to keep the discipline, they usually left the academy in one or two weeks (the course is free!). That’s why now the course is not available to foreigners. This information was provided to me by Swami Chidananda and Swami Yogaswarupananda whom I met personally. Swami Chidananda and Swami Yogaswarupananda also told me that there were no good yoga courses in Rishikesh and recommended me to learn yoga at KaivailyaDham Yoga Institute in Lonavla (near Pune, Maharashtra).
